Job Description

THOR Solutions is actively seeking a highly motivated Acquisition Analyst in support of the US Coast Guard (USCG) Polar Security Cutter (PSC) Program. The position will provide support to the USCG Asset Project Office (APO) in Baltimore, MD. Assistance will include supporting logistics planning and development activities to include requirements development, technical evaluations and crafting plans and processes for the execution of logistics products to the sustainment community.

In this position, the candidate’s responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Monitor and report on project performance during logistics planning, development, and execution activities for the Polar Security Cutter APO.
  • Review and analyze the draft ILS Acquisition to Sustainment process management plan and provide recommendations to tailor it for the PSC program.
  • Support APO’s development, tracking, and delivery of maintenance related products via prescribed APO IT interfaces and process management infrastructure.
  • Assist the APO with project control and communications procedures for PSC Integrated Logistics Support.
  • Assist in finalizing all ILS workflow processes.
  • Create and update acquisitions logistics performance metrics.

Job Requirements

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • No security clearance required.

Education, Training, and Certification Requirements:

  • Must possess at least a BS or BA relating to logistics, engineering, or a comparable technical field.

Experience Requirements:

  • Must have at least three (3) years of relevant professional experience with logistics management support.
  • An ideal candidate will have at least ten (10) years of relevant professional experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

  • Must have experience with USCG IT tools including as FLS, NESS, STIP.
  • Experience with CG-LIMS preferred.
