Job Description

Provide functional administrative services to a US Navy organization relating to fleet support and analysis in engineering and logistics. Assist technical community conducting analyses and evaluations of weapons systems via preparations with reports, presentations, documents, meetings, training, manuals, and guides. Implement procedures to improve productivity.

  • Prepare reports and track tasks and status of efforts in operations.
  • Provide administrative support to assist with technical analysis of system performance, tracking the status of problem resolutions, and data summaries for failure analysis.
  • Assist with development of technical evaluations.
  • Attend and provide administrative support for meetings and documentation review boards, including preparing and distributing presentation material, drafting correspondence, preparing reports.
  • Assist with documentation support functions including plans and changes to technical documentation.
  • Assist with updating and preparing training presentations including technical content.
  • Assist with updating technical software manuals and user guides.
  • Assist with preparation of technical data documentation such as TDPs, ECPs, NORs, SCNs.
  • Assist with tracking system and platform configurations.
  • Provide program support, develop data/graphics presentation material in the form of slides, posters, multimedia presentations, brochures, and handouts.
  • Maintain presentations and other documentation in Government Electronic Library.
  • Compile and tabulate data to support program reviews, briefings, and planning meetings.

Job Requirements

Security Clearance Requirements

An active SECRET clearance is required for this position.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 3 years of professional experience required.
  • Experience providing administrative support to a technical and/or government organization.
  • Experience coordinating meeting preparations, developing and distributing meeting agendas and materials, preparing formal correspondence, tracking status of ongoing projects and activities.
  • Experience with US Navy organization desired.
