Job Description

THOR Solutions, LLC is actively seeking a highly motivated Deputy Program Manager to support Commander Naval Surface Force Atlantic (CNSL).

Job Requirements

Security Clearance Requirement:

  •  An Active Secret Clearance is required.

 Job Requirements:

  • Shall have a minimum of twenty (20) years of experience including demonstrated management experience or project level management in shipboard operations and major systems.
  • Shall show completion of a full four year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelors or higher degree in business, management, engineering, or science and 20 years of experience in senior positions served in the US Navy.
  • Shall have experience working with the program acquisition life cycle process as addressed in the DoD 5000 series.
  • Shall have experience applying the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, cost and schedule estimating, systems disciplines, engineering specifications and commercial practices relating to weapon systems procurement and production.
  • Shall be knowledgeable in overall organization, direction, and requirements of prime contract efforts.
  • Shall be experienced in interfacing directly with Government-designated representatives and supervising various Task Order activities.
  • Shall be experienced in interacting with leadership at the Assistant Chief of Staff (ACOS) and Flag Officer level(s).
  • Shall have Major Command level experience.
  • Shall have extensive experience in shipboard maintenance and leadership, including process improvement recommendations and current knowledge of the Type Commander (TYCOM).
  • Shall posses current (within the last 5 years) detailed knowledge and experience with Fleet maintenance policies, processes, programs, and initiatives.
  • Shall have experience within the last 5 years in conducting technical briefings at all levels of shipboard and ashore maintenance managers, in all Fleet ports and supporting infrastructure.
