Security Clearance Requirement:

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Experience:
- BA/BS or other undergraduate-level degree plus 5 years of demonstrated experience managing and writing Federal Government bids and proposals in response to competitively solicited procurements from the defense and federal civilian agency domain in a defined proposal role is required. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree.
- Demonstrated experience in proposal coordination and proposal management, project/program management, and leading large teams comprised of both internal and external stakeholders, including subcontractors, in geographically dispersed locations, is required.
- Demonstrated experience in the full scope of the proposal development life cycle, including understanding of Shipley or other well-established proposal development processes and procedures is required.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast paced results driven environment while managing and executing multiple high visibility requirements while maintaining poise, diplomatic tact, and the highest level of ethical standards and professionalism is required.
- Demonstrated success in bid and proposal development as an individual contributor and as a member and/or leader of a broader bid and proposal development team is required.
- Demonstrated experience and success in a high producing bid and proposal development organization is required, preferably in a MAC IDIQ Bid and Proposal Cell, with a verifiable win rate of 35% or higher, is required.
- Demonstrated experience with large GWACs and MAC IDIQs at both the MAC and Task Order level is required.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Capture Managers and integrating the capture and proposal development phases to ensure proposal readiness is required.
- Demonstrated sound judgment when under pressure from difficult deadlines while effectively navigating emergent ambiguous circumstances is required.
- Demonstrated experience working in close coordination with line/operations, human resources, security, contracts, pricing, and technical experts in support of bid and proposal development requirements is required.
- Demonstrated experience in translating thoughts into actions through concise and effective written and oral communications is required.
- Demonstrated experience writing and editing bid and proposal narratives is required.
- Demonstrated experience setting priorities, managing deadlines, and responding to shifting priorities while ensuring schedule compliance and without compromising bid and proposal quality is required.
- Currently, anticipated travel is approximately 20% or less.
