Test Plan Management Analyst in Pascagoula, MS at THOR Solutions

Job Description

To further support the U.S. Coast Guard, THOR has an opening for Test Plan Management Analyst. In support of USCG Project Resident Office Gulf Coast, this position will provide PROGC PMR Department/Test Division (TAM: Test Director) with Combat Systems Technical Support. Daily activities for systems installation testing will be assigned by the C4IPT Lead. Combat Systems Technical support includes, but is not limited to the following tasks: 

• Update the NSC Test Data base upon receiving data from the shipbuilder; e.g., Test Calls updated Test Schedules.
• Ensure each test is assigned and accepted by assignee in the NSC Test Database.
• Monitor NSC Test Database for required input from PROGC Test Witnesses signifying acceptance of, attendance, and results of Test Call.
• Notify the Test Director of irregularities; i.e., risk that test call will not be attended or test witness input has not been received in a timely and correct manner.
• Collect hard-copy test reports and update the PROGC NSC Test Database.
• Maintain Historical Records
• Track test attendance and ensure results are documented in the NSC Test Database.
• Manage liens against the NSC Test Plan:
  • Track physical and test process deficiencies identified during testing as they are corrected and update the NSC Test Database to close the deficiency
  • Reconcile the NSC Test Database against external Lien Management Tools; e.g., 1-List, Non-conformance Reports, Test Problem Reports.
  • Collect and file appropriate documents in the historical contract record to include hard-copy and e-copy.
• Maintain PROGC Microsoft Office Access data management tools:
  • Perform routine maintenance on PROGC databases.
  • Develop and deliver reports as identified by PROGC PMR, or TAM.
  • Develop and deliver routine and adhoc metrics for project control as identified by the PMR.
• Provide surge support not to exceed 80 hours, as required to accomplish tasking.
